Description

An introductory course which explores philosophy as a human activity. It focuses upon the processes
used by philosophers as they examine questions like: What is reason? What can we know? What is
real? What ought we to do? Is there a God? Students not only experience major philosophers at work
on important human issues, but also participate in this activity by developing their own skills for creative
and critical thinking, rational argument, and responsible judgment
