Description

Presents an analysis of the content, methods, and materials in the design and implementation of social studies methods for students in grades K-4. Research-based pedagogy appropriate to the young elementary-level child will be utilized. Students will experience a range of hands-on, inquiry-based lessons implementing the PA social studies standards, which will have direct application for teaching social studies in a K-4 classroom. (New course Spring 2013.)
