Description

This course further explores language as a tool for comprehension. Introduces and examines strategies
for evaluating reading achievement from the perspectives of diagnosis, remediation and enrichment.
Teaches process writing, writing to learn, as an integral part of the learning curriculum in the
elementary classroom. Examines use of portfolios from the perspectives of current research.
Prerequisite: Education Department approval.
