Description

This course examines current management practices and strategies used in dealing with both labor and
employee relations. Today more than ever organizations must balance employee concerns for fair
dealings with the pressures of competing in a world economy. Topics covered will include changes in
the labor force, collective bargaining, grievance and alternative dispute resolution, labor law and
government policy, employee work teams and labor management cooperation.
