Description

This course will study texts of Latin American Literature encompassing poetry, short story and the novel. Class
discussions on the readings of the course will be complemented by explorations into the dynamics of Latin American
culture and the practice of critical methods in the evaluation of literary texts. Some of the authors to be included are:
Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Pablo Neruda, Octavio Pax, and Jorge Luis Borges.
