Description

Aims to prepare future elementary and secondary educators to communicate with Hispanic students and their parents in an academic setting. It continues the basics of the Spanish language for students withsome knowledge of basic Spanish. It includes specialized vocabulary for teachers, real life use of the language in a variety of educational settings, and understanding of Hispanic culture through readings and service-learning. Prerequisite:some knowledge of basic Spanishor permission of the Instructor.
