Description

Focuses on skills that new high school graduates will need to do well on writing placement exams and to succeed in introductory college writing courses. Fundamentals of grammar and composition will be reviewed according to student need. Representative writing tasks will be introduced and practiced using themes students are likely to encounter in the first year in college. Reading and writing assignments will include ?survival? topics for a successful transition from high school to college. Course does not earn academic credit. Available only to High School students with approval.
