Description

Designed to teach students to implement the concepts presented in Foundations of
School Counseling I into an ASCA-based school counseling program. It is further designed to enhance
the students understanding of the comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling process and
program. Students will learn to critically evaluate school counseling programs as well as learn to
develop programs by using data to drive their focus and interventions within a K-12 school setting.
Prerequisite: SCHC-501
