Description

Designed to familiarize students with the history, philosophy, and current trends in school
counseling as it relates to the role, function, and identity of the school counselor. This
course will also provide developmental approaches to assist students at points of educational
and personal transition. Prerequisite: Admission to the school counseling program or
instructor’s permission.
