This course covers: the history of the study of trauma; current knowledge regarding the physiological, biochemical, neurolog-ical, psychological and interpersonal sequelae of trauma; trauma and memory; incidence and prevalence of trauma in vari-ous populations; protective factors; and specialized treatment techniques.
