For Education Majors only. Covers topics considered essential for successful teaching of mathematics at the secondary level, including careful analysis of the standards and goals established by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Students observe classes and meet for discussion on content, methods, lesson planning, test construction, and other items related to secondary teaching. Pre-Requisite: Permission of the Instructor.
