Offers an in-depth exploration of professional ethics within helping professions, preparing students for entry-level competence in their chosen fields. Examines ethical and legal principles from multiple perspectives, focusing on critical areas such as confidentiality, informed consent, mandatory reporting, professional misconduct, dual relationships, boundaries, and power differentials. Additionally, it delves into issues of power, privilege, marginalization, and justice, all of which deeply impact the helping relationship.
