Description

Students examine current practices in assessment of students with disabilities, including the use of multicultural assessments. The course includes a review the issues of standardized testing requirements for these students under state and federal regulations and policies. In addition, constructivist assessment practices, such as portfolios, will be examined for use with children with special needs. Pre-Requisite: EDUC-350. (Formerly EDUCU-351.)
