Description

Examines fundamentals of cryptographic systems. Students will be able to recognize the differences between symmetric and asymmetric algorithims. They will be able to select the appropriate cryptographic protocols, tools and techniques that are appropriate for a given technology. This course will explore the strengths and weaknesses, modes, and issues that need to be addressed in implementation. Prerequisite: MATH-115.
