Description

This course will explore the legal authority necessary to possess and examine digital media and data for use in a courtroom presentation. The course will include legal writing of subpoenas and search warrants, and preservation orders. The course will exploreand dissect a number of state and Federal statutes involving digital evidence such as ECPA, PPA, and Rules of Procedure will be explored in the review of law and case law relevant to those statutes.
