On Saturday, September 26th, nine teams competed in the first annual Griffin Games. The teams started this Amazing Race styled event on the Piazza. Simultaneously, they ripped open their envelopes and read their clue. The clue led them to one of eight stations located on the CHC main campus. Participants had to complete a station’s task before receiving a clue to the next station. The tasks included elements of kickball, basketball, beach volleyball, football, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and dodge ball. The team that completed all the tasks and found the final check-in point in the least amount of time was Team BANG (Mark Winkelspecht & Bart Pierre). Team BANG recorded a time of 48 minutes and 30 seconds. Coming in second place was Team America (Eric Janda & Jake Reynolds). Third place was captured by Pepa la Poopa (Alexander Sabia & Nicole Carvella).
