Description

This course presents an analysis of the developmental stages of infants and toddlers. A short list of topics to be covered in this course are as follows: Understanding the physical, social, emotional and development of personalities in children from birth to 36 months; how a healthy and stimulating environment promotes healthy growth and development, the importance of relationship building; types of developmental screenings and why screenings are important, brain development and historical influences/research in infant/toddler development.
