Description

An analysis and comparison of revolution and political upheaval in modern world history. Topics for
study will include the communist revolutions of China and Russia. Emphasis will be placed upon the
causes of revolution and political upheaval, how they changed the nations in which they occurred, as
well as their global impact on international economics, politics, and balance of power. Course
objectives may be increased or decreased to adjust for extenuating circumstances. (H) Courses satisfy history requirement for Education majors. (Formerly UEHI-104 Topics in Modern World History.)
