Description

An introductory course in computer information systems. Topics range from the consideration of local information
exchange through global networking, including teleconferencing and interactive global dialogues. Additional topics
incorporate the study of communications hardware and software, database management systems, expert systems, and
the ethical and moral issues emanating from the communications explosion. Prerequisite: UEBC 105 or UEBC 145.
