Familiarizes the student with the major theoretical schools of counseling and psychotherapy, including: Psychoanalytic, Existential, Humanistic, Behavioral, Gestalt, Cognitive, and Family Systems. Students will learn to distinguish among different approaches and acquire a working knowledge of the terminology and concepts identified with each approach. (Formerly GRCP-500.)
