Description

The course is designed to have a variety of unique experiences utilizing the pool. Some class time will focus on aqua stress management, modified Yoga poses, modified Tai Chi poses, stretching, and meditation. Other classes will incude aqua Tabata, aqua bootcamp, aqua kick, aqua volleyball and intensive treading in the deep end of the pool. The goal of aqua experience is to increase cardiovascular endurance and create an environment of stress reduction and relaxation. Although some of the experiences happen in the shallow end of the pool, students should be familiar with swimming.
