Builds the critical thinking, writing, and reading skills required in a media-rich and increasingly techno-centric environment. Focuses on the importance of multiple points of view, and equips students with the ability to identify the U.S. media’s powerful leanings towards commercialism, individualism and specific ideologies. Students will synthesize the knowledge and skills gleaned from other courses and experiences in order to effectively use and understand digital media, building a professional took kit.
