Description

In two consecutive courses, students explore current research in the field of cognitive science regarding how the mind functions during the experience of music?what one thinks about music, how one thinks about music, and why one thinks a particular way about music. Particular focus on information gathered from such diverse disciplines as psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, history, music, sociology and anthropology. WOK: Behavioral or Artistic.
