Description

This course prepares professionals for the complex task of interpreting biblical texts through concentration on two overarching dynamics of the task: taking historical contexts of the bible into consideration and awareness of theories/methodologies of interpretation. While class time will focus on interpreting sample biblical texts, readings will resource students on specific theory and background. (Formerly GRSP-510.)
