Description

This course is designed to provide a complete overview of Special Education and
the children who receive special education services. Areas of concentration
include: classifications and definitions, patterns of learning, description of assessment and intervention strategies, legislation, and inclusion. To obtain a
broader, more comprehensive perspective, students will conduct research
through journal articles, Internet searches, classroom observations and
interviews of parents and/or teachers.
