Description

This course focuses on the articulation of the student?s dissertation question(s) and hypotheses, and the development of the dissertation proposal, which consists of the first two chapters of the dissertation (literature review and methods). The student works with the seminar instructor while keeping the dissertation chair involved in the proposal?s progress. The course will also review the procedure for submitting an application to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for research involving human participants.
