Description

This course will present an overview of past and contemporary human diversity
issues to prepare students to provide cross-cultural human services. The course
will explore the needs of various special populations and will evaluate the impact
of racism, sexism, ageism, and discrimination against individuals with disabilities
and the socio-economically disadvantaged. Opportunities will be provided for
Chestnut Hill College School of Graduate Studies 2009-2010 Catalog 52
students to examine attitudes and social policy formation on the micro, mezzo
and macro levels.
