Description

This two-part, year-long course focuses on the content, methods, and materials involved in programming for young children. Instructional strategies, teacher behaviors, and curriculum trends and their effects on children are presented, as well as programming for infants and toddlers with major emphasis on ages 3-8 years. All pedagogical methodology is related to children?s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. (Formerly EDUCU-150 and EDUCU-240.)
