Description

Designed to provide the reading specialist candidate a practical application of evaluative techniques, diagnosing reading abilities and designing remediation and appropriate instructional interventions for students with significant needs in literacy acquisition. The clinic is a supervised laboratory setting held for five weeks in the summer. This course aligns with all IRA Standards with an emphasis on Standard 2: Curriculum and Instruction, Standards for Reading Professionals, 2010 edition. Prerequisite: EDRG 635.
