Description

Provides teacher candidates with explicit instruction and practice in assessment of student learning in middle level grades. Students will use assessment data to guide instruction, monitor the results of interventions and alter instruction accordingly, use multiple assessments (authentic, screening, diagnostic, formative benchmark and summative) that are developmentally appropriate for middle level learners and implement technology. Pre-Requisite: Formal admission to the Education Department.
