Description

An advanced level writing intensive art studio course with focus on research methods in art studio including visual/art making research and academic research. Students are expected to demonstrate an in depth understanding of art-making skills and processes as they experiment with media and technique toward developing a personal style and vision in their art making research. Academic research and writing will culminate in a 15 page research paper. This course is a prerequisite for ARTS-498: Senior Seminar in Art Studio. Prerequisite: ENGL-101.
